Pilot Controlled Lighting

By installing pilot controlled lighting at your heliport, any inbound pilot can activate the perimeter lights on the helipad by simply keying his microphone on the proper VHF frequency. At facilities which may not  have constant helipad supervision, this is a feature which provides additional safety for your pilots and patients. With the FAA approved controller, a second and third circuit may also be activated to control light intensity, turn on/off additional lights or other equipment such as air intakes. Standard or custom frequency selections are available.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE Each unit comes standard with either (2) or (3) 5 amp relays. To increase capacity FEC offers the following: HP0427 includes (1) 15 amp and (1) 20 amp relay in a weathertight Hoffman enclosure or HP0428 includes (2) 15 amp and (1) 20 amp relays.
