Safety Netting

FEC Heliports includes safety netting in all of our helipad packages, but if you decide to build a helipad yourself or add safety netting to the side of a parking garage or building, FEC's experienced in-house team of engineers, fabrication shop workers, and installation crews can design, manufacture, and install the safest and best quality safety netting that you can buy. 

FEC Heliports standard design is made from structural tubing and 1" 9-gauge fencing.  Our safety netting is designed to meet or exceed the FAA criteria of 250 pounds applied over any one square foot or 25 psf overall. The safety netting protrudes out 5 feet from the edge of the deck (6 feet in the state of California) but does not rise above the helistop surface. All components are powder coated or galvanized for maximum protection in all weather conditions. All FEC safety netting is a design build process. We can meet any aesthetic desires that you may have.
