FEC Heliports’ PORTAPAD is ideal for temporary locations and remote operations where there is little to no vehicle access or where the terrain cannot be leveled. This aluminum helipad is fully portable and still offers all the same benefits of our aluminum solutions, including strength and safety, and is a lifetime investment.
PORTAPAD comes in two sizes and can be easily constructed and dismantled by a four-person team in eight hours with little or no site preparation required. Featuring adjustable legs, this helipad can even be installed on uneven terrain. Elevating the landing surface off the ground also adds to ground crew safety as it typically raises the aircraft tail-rotor above head height. For enhanced safety, it is also available with optional perimeter safety netting.
